house-gym - vision & direction
Fitness that makes sense at home
CrossFit philosophy isn't about extremes. It's about building real, functional capacity - the kind that carries over into everyday life, not just competition floors.
The CrossFit approach we teach
Three principles that shape every seminar, every conversation, and every training plan we discuss - drawn from CrossFit's founding ideas and adapted for home environments.
Variance keeps the body honest
CrossFit's core argument is that specializing too early narrows your capacity. By rotating across weightlifting, gymnastics, and metabolic conditioning - even with limited equipment - you build a broader physical base. Our seminars spend real time on how to program this variance at home without a coach watching over your shoulder.
Tracking matters more than feeling
Progress in CrossFit is measurable - load, reps, time, rounds. Feeling tired after a workout isn't the same as improving. We introduce participants to practical tracking methods, including how an Android Food Calorie Counter App or a Food Calorie Counter for Android can close the gap between training output and nutritional input. An Android Calorie Counter App gives you a concrete number to work with rather than a vague sense of effort.
Intensity is a dial, not a switch
One of the most common misreadings of CrossFit is treating intensity as all-or-nothing. The philosophy actually asks you to find the highest intensity that preserves good mechanics - and that threshold shifts depending on your training age, recovery, and daily readiness. This is something we address directly in structured seminar discussions, not just slide decks.
Who shapes the learning experience
Seminars run best when different perspectives are in the room. Here are some of the voices that contribute to house-gym's ongoing program.
Tobias Fenner
Movement coach & seminar lead
Tobias has been coaching CrossFit methodology since 2016 and focuses on helping home athletes build consistent programming without access to a full facility. He runs the core curriculum sessions.
Anika Reusch
Nutrition & tracking specialist
Anika covers the practical side of fueling CrossFit training - including how to use an Android app for counting food calories to build real awareness of intake without obsessive logging. Her sessions are grounded and evidence-based.
Dariusz KwaĆnik
Strength programming advisor
Dariusz contributes to the strength bias modules - helping participants understand how to layer barbell work into a CrossFit framework when training at home with minimal equipment.
Simone Veltri
Community discussion facilitator
Simone manages the peer exchange portions of each seminar - structured conversations where participants share what's working, what isn't, and how they're adapting CrossFit principles to their specific home setups.
